Delhi traffic gets ‘brain’: How new Rs 1,789cr traffic system will change your commute

Delhi will soon introduce an Intelligent Traffic Management System to improve traffic management across the capital. The project aims to adjust traffic signals based on real-time conditions and reduce congestion. Emergency vehicles, such as ambulances, will receive priority during peak traffic times. Traffic violations will be monitored using automated systems for enforcement and safety. The rollout will occur in three phases, evaluated to ensure effectiveness and integration.
